Legends of Latgalia aims to deliver diverse RPG experience along with massive multiplayer features and events. The story is set in dark middle ages of Latgalia. From Latgalian legends we know that we are mere remains of an ancient civilization which collapsed centuries ago. This collapse was so powerful that our world crossed with other dimensions and now there is magic, strange creatures, and other intelligent races.
You play an important role in this point of history of Latgalia as it suffers external and internal threats. Undeads and orcs are threatening our lands. We have tense relationships with elves. The river Daugava is flooding us from the west every month. Ferocious monsters are lurking outside cities. Latgalia is divided into 71 region (they call it pogosts in Latgalian). They must be united, either by making a diplomatic alliance or by iron fist of monarchy. Economy is poor. Resources are low. We need heroes... like you!
You are free to be anyone. Wanna fight with a sword or a bow or magic? Ok. Wanna peacefully gather and craft? No problem. Want to explore the vast world and find its secrets and treasures? We got you covered. Leader of gang? Good. Hired assassin? Perfect. Thief? Why not!? Builder? Sure it's possible! Multiclass with dozens of skill. Be anyone!
Although you can take a lonely trip in this game, there are almost limitless possibilities to interact with other people. Trade, massive coop quests, monsters which can be beaten only by large amount of players, castle sieges, clans, control over regions, diplomacy, marriage, and simple party ganging won't let you be bored.
Latgalia is a risky place. Explore an unpredictable and ever changing world. Fight monsters. Find treasures. Earn fame, friends and enemies. Unite Latgalia and free it from invaders. Find out what was the Great Collapse and how to fix it. Find out secrets of the ancient civilizations. But beware of full-loot.
